What Turbo adds
Krea 2 Turbo was announced on 3 June 2026 as a faster, distilled companion to Krea 2. Official and open-weight notes describe Turbo as an 8-step-style checkpoint for high-quality text-to-image when iteration speed matters.
The useful production rule from Krea’s own materials is train or research on RAW, then run inference on Turbo when that pairing is available. Do not assume every UI toggle exposes both checkpoints.

When Turbo is the right route
